With a lovely view of the port with all the colourful traditional fishing boats Burç only serves the freshest seafood available. They not only offer a variety of seasonal delights but a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The owner is known to invite tourists for coffee and helping them discover hidden gems in the village.

Oya and Burcin are both very attentive and caring owners and promises to spoil you with some of the best local produce combined with incredible live music performances. One highlight is Murat with his “tulum” a traditional instrument (bagpipe) from the Black Sea Region.

AYDA WINERY

Ayda was the very first local winery in the region and is nestled up in the mountains, about 30mins from Sigacik. The vineyards wrap around the mountain with the winery and restaurant at the top (like a crown). Ayda is born from love and is the passion project of husband and wife Uğur Kalelioğlu and Ayda Kalelioğlu.

Known for their award-winning wines – Can Ortabaş discovered the grape unique only to Urla at their agricultural farm nestled in the heart of the wine region. With over 1000 different plant types, Can Ortabaş, Bülent Akgerman, Deniz Barçın and Yavuz Karacasulu utilised the setting with the rich history to adopt a culture left thousands of years ago which belongs to people of the peninsula.

URLA VINO LOCALE

Seasonal and fresh ingredients ensure their menu is constantly changing with an ever-inspiring creative twist to Mediterranean cuisine. The owners, chef Ozan Kumbasar and his wife (who actually designed the restaurant) make you feel welcome from the first moment. The food is Michelin quality and is explained in detail by the chef himself.

Nestled in the picturesque winelands of Urla you find the unique and captivating boutique restaurant and hotel Teruar. The calm and bespoke setting is the vision of Chef and owner Osman Serdaroglu who was present from the start of construction to realise his dream. This attention to detail is present in every aspect of the experience from a menu that changes weekly to Chef Osman making his own signature tomato sauce and interacting with every guest on a daily basis. In his own words. “For me cooking is not work this is my meditation”. Teruar is a reflection of this passion and makes for a truly unique experience.

USCA WINERY

The birth of Usca Winery started with the shaping of the common passion for wine and transforming it into a professional platform. This journey took the fields bought by the two families, who decided to move away from city life and live in Urla 15 years ago. Serpil Şener, co-owner of USCA Winery – continues to work as a lawyer and represent USCA’s unique identity. She adds immense value with her tasting and presentation knowledge she has developed through international tasting organisations and Degustation trainings.

“From field to table”. Manej offers a unique dining experience to its guests, sourcing produce from the farmers and markets in the area to create the freshest most authentic meals while visitors can enjoy nature on the 50 hectare property or even try a few horse riding lessons.

This reservation-only restaurant is characterised by its garden dining area and glass enclosed, wood fire kitchen. Culinary innovation is evident in the use of fresh produce, sourced right in the back garden. The owner, M. Osman Sezener, will take you on an unforgettable culinary journey whilst being enclosed by the immaculate surroundings.

Known for the “best meat in town” Seyhan Et is a crowd favourite for both locals and visitors. The restaurant is set-up deli style, so you can choose your meat straight from the butcher and it will be prepared to your liking. The setting is filled with warmth and charm reflecting the character of the Çeşme Penninsula. Don’t forget to try the special salad.

The charming hosts have a background in gastronomy – Banu has taste, flair and a beautiful boutique and Haluk has been in the sector for many years. The food is excellent, the bar is hip, service is very good and the location is to die for.
